A View With a Room

This is a view from the bedroom upstairs over the garage thru a window I've cut in the wall to allow verbal and visual interaction between the kitchen /dining rm. and the bedroom/bath.

Looking toward the wall seperating the kitchen and upstairs bedroom ; wall for bathroom on the left and the interior window opening is directly ahead.

I've used foam to insulate the ceiling because of the increased r value and you do not need to vent the roof as you would need to if using fiberglass bat insulation. The white door leads to the living room in the old house, when completed the door will be taken down and a 36" wide opening will be left as a passage way.
